The one man army

Vitor Souza Motorsports Modding or just VSM (and not VSMM because would be awful so.. it is more or less VSM²) for the intimates, is a one man army (mostly of the times) modding "team"  focused on make modifications over the ISI's g-motors based games and some times in a while, a rebadged (Shadow Racing) race team too.

THE GUY:

Born in the mid 90's in the a**hole of São Paulo, the state, not the city, begin to watch racing cars running in circles very early in his life having vivid memorys of seein the CART rockets on wheels around 2000/2001. Yup, it is not a joke, those cars was too much for a kid to forget.

Over the years like any kid of his age, he played hardcore racesims until around 2010 when discovered that was possible to actually open the MS Paint and make "amazing" paintjobs over F1C cars, then, for worldwide rage, VSM somehow was born.

This kid that is not a kid anymore still around doing' pretty much the same thing, he just uses Photoshop now.

VSM:

Around 2010/11 when tecnically VSM born, calling of mod some very wierd skinsets made on MS Paint maybe would be a bit too much nowadays, but is how things started. Ah, and of course the name on those great art works was not "VSM", but pretty much everything else, was so many different names that I even forgot half of them.

In 2012 things changed a bit, the VHM name got adopted as also was the paint.net as main software, now we worked with layers, baby! (wow). A clearly improvement. Things like the GP2 2012 skinset (for the SR mod), the VHM IndyCar 2012 and some minor mods was launched in this meanwhile as also was the VHM Racing Team, not a big sucess, but the team managed to won a title running on the F1C (oh gosh).

2013 marked a big step forward, the 2013 GP2 skinset was the first VHM mod to be launched for rFactor and was a leap in quality over anything before, and is considerated the turning point to the now VSM.

2014 was pretty much a lost year, let's forget it.

2015 for the other side was another big step forward, the rebranded VSM was now working in his very own 3D for the first time, the IndyCar 2015 don't aged exactly well but is a mark in VSM history.

2016-17 was about the IndyCar 2016-17 mod. The mod that put VSM in the map of big fishes, even David Land made a video about it, lol.

2018-20 in the public side was about more updated IndyCars, like the 2018,19,20, Road To Indy... a lot of IndyCars comed from the VSM's computer at the time. But the big news was VSM for the first time acctually working in professional (and paid, wow) projects.

Starting in 2021 VSM started to focus more in his professionals partneships like the one with the "Campeonatos Classicos", and leaved the mods in a second side. Is purely your fault for don't donate one thousand bucks every month to "us"!!! But is not too late for it!

Shadow Racing/ VHM Race Team

Another "one man show" but this time a bullshit one, this "team" only took part in small/free championships over the years and pretty much never won nothing, but made the news when in a big move raced with a original LMP2 build by VSM and guess what: Won the freaking championship in the P2 class. The only other championship won under the "team" banner. In every other day it was just a black and red (sometimes blue... don you know why?) car at tail end of the pack.

But form where comes the Shadow thing...?

Have you ever seen "VSM" and Shadow the Hedgehog at the same time in the same  location?

                           That's what I thought..
